  • NXT Robotics Camp
    Get an introduction to the LEGO NXT robotics kits in this fun filled week of basic robot construction and programming. Compete in robot challenges and gain valuable team building skills all while investigating NXT robotics.

  • VEX Robotics Camp
    Take your NXT knowledge to the next level and join us for a week of robotics as you work with the VEX educational robotic kits. Create robots, build teamwork skills, and compete in challenges throughout the week. You will also have opportunities to experience other museum offerings during this fun-filled week.

  • Gross Science
    Make icky and sticky substances. Learn about some of the gross things animals and humans do, and make some edible things that will be sure to get a reaction.

  • Forensics
    Learn about crime solving techniques. Explore crime scene science. Extract DNA from bananas. Investigate fingerprinting and find out if you are a loop, arch, or whorl!

  • Investigating Geology
    Work with rocks, crystals, and fossils as you dig into the world of geology. Investigate Western New York's unique place in Earth's history as well as the rich geological past of Rochester. Make your own fossils and rock boxes.

  • Flight Science
    Investigate what it takes for objects like planes, kites, balloons, rockets, animals, and even humans, to take flight. Invent new gliders and drop them from a tower. Participate in an egg drop challenge. Blast off rockets using water, and experiment with other forms of propulsion.

  • Space Explorations
    Look deep into space as you explore stars, planets, and galaxies. Discover our place in space and what it takes to get to distant places in our galaxy. See a star show at the RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium.
