Explorers’ Corner
 
Parents with Preschoolers
Classes meet on three consecutive Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9:30–11am. This is a chance for parents and preschoolers (ages 2–3) to explore science, nature, technology, and more through hands-on experiences, experiments, and creative crafts.
 
$32 per child and adult
$15 per additional child
  • IT'S A JUNGLE OUT THERE
    Out where? Your backyard of course! There are huts to build, slimy friends to find, gardens to tend, and kites to construct. So come on and join in!

Discovery Corner
 
Classes meet on 3 consecutive Tuesdays or Thursdays from 12:30–2:00pm. This is a chance for youth ages 4–5 to discover science, nature, technology, and much more through hands-on experiences, experiments, and creative crafts.
 
$30 per child
  • SUNCATCHER SCIENCE
    Did you know there is science in your backyard? Plants and flowers are sprouting everywhere. How does a seed grow? Watch your own plants grow, and make suncatchers with flowers and plants. Become a backyard science expert!

Saturday Sensations
 
Come to the Museum on Saturdays and attend great classes! This is a chance for youth ages 5–8 to have fun exploring animals, the water, and plants! Classes meet from 1–3:30pm.

    Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day! Where does rain come from? How do clouds hold rain? Explore the wonderful world of water. Caution: you may want to bring your galoshes!
