Camps at RMSC run Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm.
 
Full day extended care, a time of supervised but unstructured play, is staffed by our Youth Program staff and provided from 8–9am and/or 4–5:30pm for an additional charge of $20 per child, per am or pm session, per week ($40 for both per week.)

  • Science of Sailing (2 weeks)
    August 16 -20 and August 23 - 27

    Strap on your life jacket and join the RMSC and the Rochester Yacht Club as you explore the sci¬ence of sailing in this two-week camp. Learn about sailing theories, marlinspike seamanship, and rigging. There’ll be plenty of tiller time! Please bring a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket. All campers must have the ability to swim.

Full day - Summer Camps at the Cumming Nature Center

Camps run Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm. The camp day includes programs and activities in the Cumming Nature Center and on the trails.

Please note: Lunch is not included.

Two ways to check in!
  1. Check in at the Welcome Center in the Cumming Nature Center lobby at 9am.
  2. Check in at the RMSC and hop on the bus to CNC Camp! Bus leaves the RMSC at 8am and returns at 4pm.
There will be a $20 per week charge for busing. Registration and payment are required to take the bus.


Extended Care, a time of supervised but unstructured play, is provided by our Youth Program staff.
  • Extended care is provided at the RMSC from  4 - 5:30pm for an additional charge of $20 per am or pm session, per child, per week ($40 per week for both). Registration required.
  • Extended care is provided at the Cumming Nature Center from 8 - 9am and/or 4 - 5:30pm for an additional charge of $20 per child, per am or pm session, per week ($40 per week for both). Registration required.
All Cumming Nature Center Camps include an optional overnight from Thursday to Friday of your camp week! Have burgers and hots on the grill, go on a night hike, and stargaze! Overnight will be supervised by adult and young adult camp staff.

    Go back in time to when the pioneers came to the Bristol Hills for the white pine. Spend time working and playing in the authentic pioneer cabin. Learn to use pioneer tools. Investigate the plants and animals that helped the pioneers survive. Dress in period costumes and explore the lands of the Cumming Nature Center.
